The Legends has (2) restaurants located on-site: Highlander’s Double Eagle Tavern located in the main clubhouse, and the private Ailsa Pub located amongst the Scottish villas.

The Ailsa Pub is a Scottish-style golf course pub that offers a wide variety of menu items and drinks.

Built in 1994 by owner Danny Young, The Ailsa Pub has been catering to anyone that just wants to grab a pint and a bite to eat after a long day of golfing, work or play! Danny wanted a place for people to come enjoy themselves outside of the clubhouse nearby so he has adapted the pub to suit not just golfers, but locals and newcomers that just want to relax or hang out by the pool with a cool drink. Though the theme of the decor represents a true Scottish pub, our menu offers something for everyone. We use locally grown produce from Danny’s family farm located just down the road from the pub to add freshness and originality to our menu items. From our creative burgers to our popular Fish and Chips, The Ailsa Pub blends American cuisine with local Low country elements and Scottish comfort food.

Highlander’s Double Eagle Tavern

Breakfast is served buffet-style every morning at Highlander’s Double Eagle Tavern, and lunch vouchers can be redeemed either at the Tavern or the snack bar at the turn. The drink vouchers can be used for fountain sodas or draft beers anytime of the day. Since they had Yuengling on tap, we obviously went with the draft beers. The food is good and filling and certainly hit the spot during our marathon rounds.
