Pawleys Plantation Golf Course Opening Soon

Pawleys Plantation golf course is getting even better. The renovation is scheduled to be completed by October just in time for prime season.

Renovating Green Complex and Surrounding Fringe

The entire complex and the surrounding fringe will be stripped, tilled and restored to its original specifications. The courses putting surface will be expand from 78,600 square feet to 117,000 a  48% increase. New greens

The courses new greens will feature TifEagle Bermudagrass, an ultradwarf strain that has performed exceedingly well at other course layouts, including the Grande Dunes Resort Course.

In addition to the greens restoration, all bunkers will be reconstructed and the sprawling bunkers on holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 18 will be replaced by smaller fairway bunkers, native areas and expanded fairways, enhancing the course’s playability for mid to high handicappers without reducing the challenge for more skilled players.

Club House Renovation

The clubhouse’s Pub will be expanded providing an expansive view of the 18th hole and the marsh, creating beautiful Views from Pub dining area. And Plans also include adding outdoor seating giving golfers the opportunity to enjoy the views and ideal weather.

The courses reopening will be just in time for the Fall season a prime time for golfers who love to vacation in the area.
