Most of the holes have no trees on them, providing a visual presentation like no other course around. The challenge and difficulty of this course comes primarily for the unobstructed breeze that wafts constantly over the course, and the strategically placed bunkers and lush, deep rough that closely border all fairways. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bermuda.

Windswept hills and deep faced bunkers (there are 60 sand traps situated near the landing zones or greenside) are two of the characteristics which challenge the games of all levels of players.
