A buddy and I booked a golf and stay package through Legends Golf-Resort for a 4 night and 4 rounds of golf. Booking was so easy, we talked about cost then choose from a few courses for the last 2 to play. There was 2 courses that I new I wanted to play. All of the courses were in great shape, tee times were spot on, very enjoyable play. Our condo was a 2 bedroom overlooking the 1st hole on the True Blue course that we played. Very clean with everything we needed. This was a very enjoyable 4 days. Will use Legends again in the future for another trip.

Megan Rokose was great setting up my groups trip to the Legends. The legends courses was too crowded, slow, and not in good shape.
The legends villas has cheap furniture which some legs came off the chairs.
Thank you for your feedback. It was a pleasure assisting you with your golf outing.I understand your frustration regarding the course backups. As we discussed prior to booking, this resort does tend to overbook, which can result in delays. While many guests enjoy their stay without issue, I recognize that this specific resort's pace and environment may not be the right fit for everyone.
So our trip went very well.
We could not have asked for better weather...
Courses were in great shape.
Condos worked out very well. Had a great view of #17 on True Blue.

The planning of our golf trip went very well and they even let us know the legends resort over books and that there may be backups but we wanted to try it but It’s a puppy mill for golf. Nice tracks, terrible service. Played 4 days and had to get bags out every day at all bag drops. No pace of play marshals, waited an hour and forty minutes for my “free” lunch that is factored into price. Five plus hour rounds. Even the property manager would only text and not answer her phone. Will not be back. There are too many good courses there to have to settle for a sub par experience. Bob Jones

1st Time but definitely not our last
Golf Courses:
The courses were in very good shape and we really liked all of them except Oyster Bay. We would probably not play that one again.
Here are the ratings:
#1a Arrowhead Golf Course – Very nice and they gave us a free replay after our round so we played all 27 holes.
#1b Heritage Golf Course – Very nice as well some liked it better than Arrowhead so a close 1b.
#2 Parkland and Moorland at Legends – Both very nice and challenging
#3 Heathland at Legends – This was nice but the other 2 above were just a bit better
#4 Oyster Bay – It was in pretty bad shape but lots of alligators. Lol
All our tee times were good except the last day at Moorland, you had us down for 9:48 am, we tried to get there early to hit balls but that failed as they had us at 9:08 am and moved us to 9:00 am.
Range balls were included at all the courses however we had to show them that we were staying at Legends, they said we were part of Myrtle Beach Golf Vacations not Legends Golf Vacations. It ended up not being problem though. The guy at Oyster Bay charged us but when we came in for lunch he refunded us.
Food:
Breakfast provided at the club house everyday was just ok. Scrambled eggs with home fries, sausage and ham or bacon (alternated each day). No fresh fruit. The first day we had to pay because we played at Arrowhead so it was not included.
Lunch on the other hand was excellent at Legends and Heritage, however at Oyster Bay it was below par.
P.S. Service was very good at all the courses.
Supper:
We had a lot of excellent dinner experiencing and only cooked once at the condo.
Cafe Old Vienna was German food and excellent, also very good was Crabby Mike Buffet, Outback and Grumpy Monk. The only let down was dining at the on site bar the Alisa Pub, the food was terrible to say the least.
Condo:
We were very happy with the condo, lots of towels, clean and beds were very comfortable. A couple of things: all of the showers had fixed shower heads it would have been nice to have one that you can remove to hose off your body. The other thing is the pools and hot tubs do not open, they said they open up mid/late April, it would have been nice to sit in the hot tub with a beer after golf.
Weather:
Well it was cold some days and hot some others, no rain which was great.
Overall the weather was what we had hoped for as I got to wear shorts every day.
Once again thanks for looking after us, everything was great. We will definitely book again next year with you if we go back to Myrtle Beach, the only thing is we would probably not play at Oyster Bay or eat at Alisa Pub.

Group of 16 Another Good Golf Package
We’ve been coming to Myrtle Beach for over 10 years now and this really is a great area for us to get together. We look forward to it every year. We have played just about every course I think, but this year we played Rivers Edge and this course has never been on our list. It is a first and we have been missing out because it is a great course the boys couldn’t say enough about it, so good mix of courses and nice villa is what we want. Thanks again for planning and we look forward to next year.
